If that's not cost effective, or you don't have all that much data on the Macs so it makes sense to back them up to B2, you'll want to encrypt before uploading to B2 - so either encrypt Time Machine or turn on Synology Cloud Sync's encryption feature. They can just back up directly to Backblaze as long as there's an internet connection. This is also helpful if those Macs are mobile - and sometimes are not in your local network with access to your Synology.
